Greetings to Parents and Guardians,
This past school year has been a new experience for all due to many changes and
restructuring within the Department of Education. I am very thankful to be part
of the Murry Bergtraum High School family.
In reviewing the information about our school, I realized that our parent
Participation in our PA/PAC Title I have declined. Parental involvement is vital
if a student is to be a success. Murry Bergtraum has a 29-year reputation of
producing academically sound students who are prepared for the challenges that
lie ahead. I ask of you to be part of your child’s life and involve yourself in
the Parent Association activities.
Your support is needed for our upcoming elections on June 15, 2004. If you are
interested in running for office or nominating someone, please contact our
Parent Center at 212-964-9619 ext. 132.
Your involvement will help towards the success of your child and all others.
There are many initiatives that we would like to introduce for the school year
2004-2005, such as: support groups for woman and grandparents committee. If
there are other ways in which I can serve you, please feel free to contact me at
347-563-5265.
Thank you for your help and support and I look forward to meeting with you.
Sincerely,
Emilia Delgado-Cruz
