Dear Freshman:
It is your responsibility to bring the following to class everyday:
a. 81/2 x 11 looseleaf notebook with a section specifically for math
b. black/blue-inked pen
c. 6" ruler (or 15 cm ruler)
d. a scientific calculator (eg. TI 30Xa or TI30X IIs costing $10-$15) It is suggested that the calculator have a fraction key: a b/c and a probability key nPr.
Students are expected to attend class on a daily basis, to arrive to class on time, to do homework every night, to attend tutoring if necessary, and to be an active participant in class.
